Public, verifiable sources
DIAN customs declarations, the business registry, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Ministry of Transport. Every screen names its source.
Limits in plain sight
When a figure has a limitation — an incomplete year, a small sample — it is stated next to the figure, not in fine print.
Medians, not averages
A single outlier transaction does not move the prices or times you see: medians and percentiles are used.
Example: according to DIAN's 2025 time release study, it typically takes 153 hours in Buenaventura from arrival notice to customs release; 111 when cargo is delivered at the point of arrival.
